Your dog already ate something risky? Call your vet or an emergency vet now. In the US you can also call the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at (888) 426-4435, or contact the Pet Poison Helpline. A consultation fee may apply. Do not make your dog vomit unless a vet tells you to.

This list is general information, not veterinary advice, and it does not cover every food. Risk depends on the amount, your dog's size and health. Dogs with conditions such as pancreatitis or diabetes need advice from their vet before any new food. If a food is not listed, ask your vet.
